Our Story
OtterSign started in 2020 as OtterWaiver, built to solve one problem most e-signature companies ignored: waivers. Liability-heavy industries like shooting ranges, camps, and recreation centers needed a smarter, faster, and more compliant way to collect signatures. We delivered with Smart Forms that replaced clunky PDFs with mobile-ready, conditional flows that captured the right data every time.
Over the years, our customers pushed us further. They needed not just waivers, but memberships, contracts, and compliance agreements in one place—managed across teams, locations, and industries. In 2023 we launched our Enterprise Dashboard, and in 2025, we officially rebranded to OtterSign to reflect our broader mission: the only platform built for waivers and eSign agreements.
