It’s optimized for iPhone today. Android support is planned. No additional hardware is required beyond your device camera.
Is the data secure?
Yes. All identity data and documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow SOC 2–aligned security practices and enforce role‑based access controls.
Does the scan autofill my forms?
Yes. After a scan, customer details such as name, date of birth, address, ID number, and expiration can auto‑populate into OtterSign smart forms and agreements.
Do customers need to install an app?
No. Scanning works within OtterSign’s experience on supported devices.
How is verification recorded for compliance?
Each successful verification is logged with a timestamp and linked to the agreement record for audit trails and reporting.
